You have a great idea for an event or festival. But where, and how, do you start the planning process? What does it actually mean to plan and organise an event for 300 people, let alone 30,000 people?

In this workshop we explore what a licensing officer expects from you, the event planner. We learn how to construct a convincing Event Management Plan. We analyse the Licensing Act and specific health and safety regulations applicable to the event industries. We learn that creative event ideas need to be made realistic and need to be in line with the licensing objectives. At the end of the workshop we will have learned what is needed to get the correct licenses to stage our event.
